Road to PNPT

This is my journey to PNPT Certification. It will be live in a sense documenting what I learn as I learn it. My first entry will be a catching up. I first started with www.Hackthebox.eu and www.academy.hackthebox.eu After some set backs and frustrations with the website (mainly the learning material not going very deep into detail) I discovered TryHackMe.com And I like this site much more. Currently working my way through the "Complete Beginner" room. Having used Linux for many years I know it pretty well and the Linux Fundamentals room was really easy. If I didn't have any linux experience it would still be a great learning experience.. The next room "Networking Fundamentals" was also a great room. I have ordered Gordon Lyon "NMAP Network Scanning" as I feel it will be a great resource as I progress. So far things have been going really well since switching to Tryhackme.com I will use HTB as they have more machines to practice on and also download vulnerable machines from vulnhub.com and practice on those once I have a better understanding.
